Our Installation Process
Installing metallic epoxy flooring starts with us cleaning your concrete and inspecting it for damage. If any damage is present, such as cracks or chipping, we’ll repair it before continuing. Once all repairs have been made, we’ll begin the surface prep. We prep your existing floor’s surface by using a floor grinder equipped with a diamond grinding wheel to grind the concrete down, eliminate any minor blemishes, and ensure proper adhesion between the concrete and epoxy. Next, we’ll mix the epoxy and metallic pigments, then pour it across the floor. The design you’ve selected will then be formed using a squeegee to manipulate the resin. Once the thickness and patterns are sufficient, we’ll coat the floor with a clear epoxy topcoat. Your new floor will be 90% cured after 24 hours and 100% cured after 72 hours.
